Product Description

GABA stands for gamma-aminobutyric acid, which is contained in human brains. It is known that a little GABA is generally found in a rice grain but recent research shows that germinating whole grains contains a large quantity of GABA.

Cooking suggestion:

  • Try cooking the germinating rice with normal white rice on a one for one cup basis.
  • Mix the germinating rice and white rice in a bowl and wash them together.
  • Soak the rice in water for about 30 mins.
  • Cook the rice in the same way as normal white rice with a rice cooker.

*You may adjust the amount of water and germinating rice according to your preferences.


  • The packet before opened can be stored in a dark place under normal temperature. Once opened, store it in a fridge and consume as soon as possible (within about 14 days).
  • There is a bag of deoxidizing agent in the packet. Please do not eat the bag.
