If you are a lover of Koshihikari rice, then you must try Koshihikari rice produced in the Uonuma region of Niigata prefecture, which is regarded as the best of the best Koshihikari rice you could ever find in Japan.

This Koshihikari rice is cultivated at a special Grade A swamp areas centered around Tokamachi, Niigata. In Nakauonuma, abundant of snowfall in the winter melts into streams and provides the rice with important minerals and nutrients for growth.  A stringent selection process is carried out to produce this 100% finest quality of Koshihikari rice from Uonuma.

Uonuma Koshihikari is a little bit  more pricey than ordinary Koshihikari. However you get what you pay for.  Let spoil yourself with this super premium rice. But let me warn you first, you could end up eating more rice because it is simply so tasty to eat the rice on its own.
